Dr. Kimberly Warneke is a psychiatrist with The Harris Center, serving as a jail-based competency restoration program psychiatrist at the Harris County Jail. She began her career at UT Houston Medical School as an assistant professor teaching students and residents and treating patients hospitalized at the Harris County Psychiatric Center. She has since worked at The Harris Center in many capacities - outpatient clinics, psychiatric emergency services, crisis stabilization, and crisis residential. She has broad forensic experience with their New START Adult Mental Health Forensic Services Department, Harris County Community Supervision and Corrections’ Dual Diagnosis Residential Program, as well as with the UTMB prison system and has also served as medical director of adult forensic services at the Harris County Jail.
