Dr. Justin Berk is an Associate Professor of Medicine, Pediatrics, and Epidemiology at Brown University. He directs the Center for Health and Justice Transformation and provides clinical care in addiction medicine in the community and behind the walls. He previously served as Medical Director for the Rhode Island Department of Corrections, overseeing statewide correctional healthcare. Dr. Berk has led multiple NIH-funded studies on medications for opioid use disorder and hepatitis C treatment in jails and prisons with over 50 peer-reviewed publications.
