Dr. Linda Benskin is an independent nurse researcher and the clinical research, education, & charity liaison for Ferris Manufacturing. Corp. Dr. Benskin became a wound expert during 5 years caring for patients and teaching village health workers in a remote area of West Africa. Since then, she has taught experienced surgeons and nurses across six continents. Dr. Benskin's basic review of the role of vitamin D in the COVID-19 pandemic has been cited by well over 100 author groups, and her invited chapter on the topic was featured in several episodes of Darkhorse. She recently completed a randomized controlled trial of improvised dressings for remote and conflict areas of developing tropical countries.
