Ms. Cynthia Malcolm started her correctional healthcare career in 2007 as a staff nurse working for Prison Health Services in Pennsylvania for the Juvenile Justice System. Ms. Malcolm has held several positions in correctional health care ranging from Nursing Supervisor to Health Service Administrator. Her correctional health care experience includes accreditation preparation, site surveys, and detox treatment protocols.
She has two Masters’ degrees, one in Health Care Administration and the other in Nursing both earned at University of Phoenix. Ms. Malcolm earned her Advanced Graduate Nursing Practice Degree from Maryville University and earned her Forensic Nursing Certification from American Institute of HealthCare Professionals. Ms. Malcolm is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Maryville University. Her mantra is "no treatment is mistreatment" and believes that at the core of everything we do as correctional health care professionals, we must utilize "Integrity" and render patient care with the utmost respect and competence.
