Dr. Romita Sillitti is the Supervisory Health Services Program Manager for Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services, where she oversees the behavioral health services provided to detained youth at New Beginnings in Laurel, Maryland. She has previous experience overseeing clinical services and program development in adult correctional facilities including the Cook County Jail and Dixon Correctional Center in Illinois. These professional roles have heightened her appreciation for, and dedication to, effective collaboration within justice systems to improve outcomes for individuals and our larger communities. She has enjoyed the opportunities to present at conferences for National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC) and National Partnership for Juvenile Services (NPJS), as well as internationally in Tanzania.
