Dr. Jennifer Clifton is Associate Dean of Practice and Community Collaboration at the University of Utah College of Nursing and oversees a network of juvenile justice clinics throughout Utah. Since joining the faculty in 2005, she has combined nursing education, clinical practice, and program leadership to improve health care access for justice-involved youth. Dr. Clifton earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Indiana University, a Master of Science in Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Brigham Young University, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Utah. She serves in national leadership roles with NCCHC and is recognized for her expertise in juvenile correctional health, advanced practice nursing, and interdisciplinary care.
