Mr. Timothy Owens is a licensed mental health clinician at Rhode Island Hospital and Director of the Brown University Health Behavioral Health Team at the Rhode Island Training School, the state’s juvenile correctional facility. In this role, he oversees assessment and treatment services for youth involved in the justice system. Mr. Owens also serves as a Senior Teaching Associate in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. His professional interests include juvenile behavioral health, correctional mental health services, and workforce development within multidisciplinary treatment settings.
