RT-06 Housing Is Health Care for Reentry Populations: The FUSE Intervention and 10-Year Follow-Up*

Reentry housing is a critical public health intervention that should begin as early as possible. Frequent Users Systems Engagement (FUSE) is a housing-based supportive services reentry model for people with complex health/behavioral health needs who cycle between jail and homelessness. We will review three case studies: New York City, Denver, and Multnomah County, Ore. and compare program models, implementation, and outcomes regarding housing, recidivism, and reduced use of crisis health care services.
