Dr. Patrick McCray is a psychiatric nurse practitioner with Centurion Healthcare in the Georgia Department of Corrections. He has worked in corrections for 9 years and anticipates the 2024 publishing of his study on reducing prison-related stress with mindfulness. Dr. McCray’s education includes a BS in biology from Georgia State University, an associate’s degree in nursing from West Georgia Technical College, a master’s in nursing from the University of South Alabama, and a doctorate in nursing practice from Frontier Nursing University. He is a board-certified member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
