Dr. Denis Yukhnenko is a postdoctoral researcher at the Forensic Psychiatry Research Group at Oxford University in the UK. His areas of expertise include the epidemiology of psychiatric disorders and their relationship with adverse outcomes, such as repeat offending, morbidity, and mortality. He also specializes in developing dynamic risk prediction models using large population datasets. Dr. Yukhnenko received his PhD in Psychiatry from the University of Oxford in 2022. Prior to pursuing his PhD, he worked as a first-response psychologist for victims of disasters. He received his training in clinical psychology from Lomonosov Moscow State University in Russia and earned his MSc in Forensic Psychology from Maastricht University in the Netherlands. He is also a trained cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) therapist.
