Ms. Whitney Kraemer is a licensed mental health clinician with 10 years of clinical experience within correctional health care. Ms. Kraemer currently works with the Justice, Health & Equity Program as the director, justice & health equity, helping to move forward projects assisting with increased services to justice-involved individuals, both while they are incarcerated and upon their return to the community. Ms. Kraemer previously worked as a contractor within the Massachusetts Department of Correction in both clinical and administrative roles, overseeing behavioral health care, providing supervision to staff, and working in concert with multidisciplinary teams to develop advancements in care. Within her role, Ms. Kraemer also facilitated training for correctional staff and health staff and helped develop and facilitate the inaugural Crisis Intervention Training class held in December of 2019.
