Ms. Kathy Taylor is currently the Director of Criminal Justice Initiatives. She retired from Kentucky Department of Corrections, working in Adult Institutions and Community Corrections. She was instrumental in developing and implementing a substance use disorder program for adults on and transitioning to community supervision. She assisted and managed an institutional SUD program. Mrs. Taylor was DOC’s liaison for the Recovery Kentucky Initiative. She received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and psychology at Kentucky Wesleyan College and a master’s degree in criminal justice from Eastern Kentucky University. Mrs. Taylor served on the University of Kentucky’s Institutional Research Board, representing Corrections or the Community.
