Regina Tamon is a residency trained clinical pharmacist. She is passionate about education, patient care, and developing clinical initiatives. She has served collaboratively with other health care providers to bring state-of- the-art clinical pharmacy services to a correctional setting of about 36,000 individuals. In her current role as a clinical pharmacist director, she developed a collaborative anticoagulation protocol for a correctional setting. In her 10 years in corrections, she has actively advanced and optimized cost-effective pharmacotherapies without compromising patient outcomes, educating doctors, pharmacists, and nurses via continuing education programs in the State of Michigan.
