Ms. Sharon Butler is a registered nurse who has worked in correctional health for over 13 years. She has held various positions in the correctional health field, from regional director of nursing and health services administrator to staff development and manager on the electronic health record team. She currently works with continuous quality improvement oversight for prisons and jails as a part of the policy and accreditation team. She is an active member of the American Correctional Nurses Association and a volunteer for Remote Area Medical in Alaska. She holds an MSN in nursing informatics as well as a BA in psychology from the Ohio State University.
