Athena North-Henderson is a registered nurse with a focus on education and improving patient safety. She is a nursing education manager for Wellpath. She began her career as a volunteer medic, which sparked her passion for caring for her community and pursuing her degree in nursing. Ms. North-Henderson uses evidence-based practice to develop innovative but practical ways to improve the quality of care and create safe environments for underserved populations and is passionate about teaching others about those topics along the way.
