Dr. Ainsworth Lightbody is a mental health clinician with more than 12 years of experience working in correctional mental health and forensic settings. He currently provides clinical care and manages individuals with mental health needs within a correctional environment. Dr. Lightbody holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology and a Postdoctoral Certificate in Trauma-Informed Care Counseling. His professional interests include personality disorders, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based behavioral interventions. He also facilitates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) groups, helping individuals develop emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness skills.
