Ms. Deborah Ash is a master's-prepared registered nurse and also holds a master's degree in business administration. She is a recognized speaker, trainer, and leader in the correctional health care industry. Ms. Ash is a CCHP-RN with 16 years' experience in jails and prisons across 19 states. A graduate of Duke University's Legal Nurse Consultant Program, Ms. Ash is considered an expert in the field and has participated in civil and criminal litigation in the defense of multiple jails, officers, and nurses. She owns her own consulting practice assisting jails operating their own health services and monitoring contracts for jails with medical vendors. Ms. Ash has been a presenter at the NCCHC conference at least annually for more than 10 years. She is honored to be invited back and extends her appreciation to all who attend.
