Capt. Jonathan Ede began his career with the Travis County Sheriff's Office in 2007. He has worked a variety of assignments in varying capacities including, Housing, Complex Security/Corrections Tactical Team, Hospital Visitation Unit, Health Services Building, Central Booking Facility and the downtown Travis County Jail. He oversees operations for the Health Services Security and Infrastructure section which consist of the Health Services Building, Hospital Visitation Unit, Maintenance and Engineering divisions. Capt. Ede received a MSCJ from Texas State University, is a Certified Jail Manager through the American Jail Association, and holds both a Master Jailer and Master Peace Officer License.
