Description
Ethical dilemmas are moral situations in which a choice must be made between two equally undesirable alternatives. Correctional health professionals often face circumstances that create cognitive and emotional dissonance. In these situations we should focus our attention to identify and address the dilemma. Participants will hear about a variety of ethical dilemmas and learn how to recognize when a moral quandary exists, examining the dilemma through an ethical lens and dissecting the issue to develop a resolution.
