Quetiapine is an antipsychotic that is popular in corrections more for its secondary uses than its antipsychotic properties. This poster presents a case study of an 18-year-old male with no risk factors who suddenly developed diabetic ketoacidosis; his diabetes was reversed when quetiapine was discontinued and redeveloped after it was reintroduced.
