Ms. Martina Virrey is a Community Resources Manager with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. She began her career with the department in 2008 at Deuel Vocational Institution developing and managing self-help and religious inmate activity groups for justice impacted adults. She recently transferred to CDCR’s Division of Adult Institutions, Office of Policy Standardizations, and Community Partnerships Unit which provides support to all CDCR adult institutions. She has coordinated regional youth leadership programs and AmeriCorps VISTA volunteers throughout California’s 29 Central Valley counties to increase access to services and resources. She is a graduate of California State University Monterey Bay.
