A Qualitative Study on Living With Hepatitis C After Incarceration

Individuals recently released from incarceration with hepatitis C must simultaneously navigate challenges associated with reentry and cope with a chronic medical condition. A gap in knowledge exists pertaining to how formerly incarcerated people with HCV+ fare postrelease. This poster identifies the major emergent themes from a qualitative study with 20 such individuals designed to explore their lived experiences following incarceration.
