This presentation will detail the updates and changes to the DSM in the latest version, the  DSM-5-TR (Text Revision). We will explore the implications of the changes and how they will affect the care given to the residents of correctional facilities. Attendees will receive a brief review of the DSM-5, followed by a more in-depth look at the latest updates to the DSM-5-TR version, as well as important documentation changes in making diagnosis. To better reinforce the understanding of these diagnostic changes, participants will have an opportunity to review several case examples. 3.5 CE credits
