The purpose of this study is to explore which treatment modality is most effective in treating adults diagnosed with major depressive disorder after exposure to childhood trauma, and ultimately to improve the clinical outcomes. The research yields that adults diagnosed with MDD who also reported a history of childhood trauma experienced tremendous success with combination medicinal and psychotherapy treatment.
