Ms. Megan Leinen is Wellpath's Regional Director of Nursing for jails in the U.S. Southeast region. She has worked in correctional health care for ten years. Ms. Leinen started her correctional health care career in the Volusia County Jail in Daytona Beach, Florida and held several different positions there with both Armor and Centurion. When she left that site in 2021, she worked as the Regional Director of Nursing for the Arizona Department of Corrections through Centurion before transitioning to Wellpath as the Regional Director of Nursing for the Pacific Northwest in August 2022. In June 2024, Ms. Leinen relocated back to Florida and became the Regional Director of Nursing for Wellpath in the Southeast U.S. Ms. Leinen has a Bachelor's of Social Work, a Bachelor's of Nursing, and an MBA in Health Care Management.
