Description

In February 2023, the Montana Department of Corrections initiated a medication-assisted treatment program. Through the collaboration between MT DOC medical, a MAT provider, and a behavioral health provider, more than 50 patients have received tailored treatment combining medications and counseling. This talk delves into the collaborative efforts, program details, efforts to limit diversion, the significance of tailored interventions in carceral settings, and the importance of seamless transitions to community-based care for sustained recovery.
