Description

The speakers will describe a statewide program to address self-harm behaviors and suicide at one facility, to include policies, principles, protocols, and practices. Continuous quality improvements over the last two decades have led to no completed suicides in the entire system for over 20 years. Recent program adaptations reflect the increase in complex mental health needs and suicide risks among the youths.
