Harris Health System developed and deployed two metric dashboards to streamline the medical intake workflow. The dashboards leverage real-time data from the electronic health record to allow for timely and appropriate workflow redesign and issues resolution. Customized features of the EHR enable capture of data elements that are distributed daily to medical leaders and caregivers; key information is displayed on monitors in the medical clinic areas and security staff offices.
