Description

This talk will discuss key barriers to delivering high-quality cancer screening and treatment for individuals incarcerated in prison and best practices for improving cancer care. The speaker will examine common themes from interviews with medical directors, PCPs, and oncologists who deliver cancer care across 16 different prison systems, with a focus on ways that medical directors and correctional providers may apply study findings to improve cancer care for their patients.
