Using national data on the most common reasons for nursing board disciplinary action and the top nursing liability claims, this session will enable participants to examine their nursing practice and identify areas of concern. Determining one’s scope of practice is critical. Topics include policies and procedures, national standards, documentation, continuing education, and how to address conflicts between scope of practice and actual clinical practice.
