Description
A new research article authored by leaders from the Middlesex Sheriff's Office and Brandeis University analyzes a historic MOUD program that combined jail-based treatment with recovery navigator support and finds that it had significant impacts on opioid-related mortality, harm reduction, and recidivism reduction among program participants. This presentation will share this new research, discuss the efforts to establish a jail-based MOUD program, and examine how the program has grown since the research period.
