Description
The intersections of a person's experiences, identities, and communities play an important role in successful reentry. Trauma-informed principles ask correctional staff to attend to these individual and community factors when developing plans for reentry in order to create opportunities for success. This presentation will specifically focus on the unique experiences of women and youth and how trauma-informed principles can help shape reentry programs to better address their needs.
