Description

Viewing correctional treatment and interventions through the lens of neuroscience enables effective interventions during all phases of incarceration, including reentry. Topics to be covered include how dysregulation in behavior, emotions, and thinking are all caused by disruptions in brain function; how neuroscience can be utilized to reduce dysfunction; and how implementation of brain function and neuroscience principles can help people successfully reintegrate into the community.
