Description

This presentation will address the challenge of providing methadone services in carceral facilities by sharing the innovative and collaborative approach taken in Allegheny County (PA) to support individuals in the Allegheny County Jail. The presentation will cover lessons learned from Allegheny County Jail's strategic implementation of MOUD services -- continuation and induction -- for methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone; how to leverage partnerships throughout the MOUD implementation process; and the importance of tracking data to improve quality.
