This study evaluates the impact of sexual health intervention programs on sexual health during incarceration and long-term outcomes postrelease. Results highlight fostering safer sexual behaviors, the effectiveness of STI and HIV prevention programs, the education needed to reduce STIs, and ways to improve knowledge, with insight into strategies for maintaining positive health outcomes postrelease and understanding the crucial role these intervention programs play in correctional settings.
