Name
202 Legal Implications of the Incarceration of Black Women
Description
This systematic review examines the challenges faced by incarcerated Black women in the U.S., including poor sexual health outcomes, which can be improved through the reformation, novelization, and invalidation of policies within our legal systems. The study explores both historical and modern factors that contribute to the incarceration of black women. An area of focus will be the school-to-prison pipeline, which has affected Black women disproportionately.
