This poster highlights findings from a 2025 study of 408 incarcerated women in a large urban jail. Participants shared experiences related to violence, childhood maltreatment, homelessness, mental health challenges, exploitation, and forced criminality. Explore how these findings can inform policy, programming, and environmental changes that better address trauma and improve outcomes for incarcerated women.
