This mixed-methods study explores the impact of extended-release buprenorphine (BUP-XR) in drug court settings. Findings showed improvements in recovery capital and fewer medication management and diversion challenges compared to methadone, extended-release naltrexone, and no MOUD. Examine how long-acting treatment options may support recovery, improve stability, and strengthen outcomes within criminal legal system programs.
