Pregnant individuals in custody often have limited access to labor support, childbirth education, and emotional support during pregnancy and delivery. This session describes the development of a partnership between correctional health services, public health, and community-based doulas within a large urban jail system. Attendees will learn practical approaches to integrating doulas into correctional environments and strategies to support patient-centered perinatal care in custody.
