Formerly incarcerated Black men often navigate trauma, stigma, and structural barriers during reintegration. This session shares qualitative research exploring identity reconstruction, emotional healing, and resilience after incarceration. Examine how culturally responsive, trauma-informed approaches can support long-term mental well-being and help correctional health professionals better understand the lived experiences that shape successful reintegration.
