During his 40-year public service career, Mr. Peter Perroncello served under five different sheriffs in two adjoining Massachusetts counties. He is the retired superintendent of jail operations at the Norfolk County Sheriff's Office, which operates a 702-bed, direct supervision jail. Mr. Perroncello also commanded the detention operations for the Bristol County Sheriff's Office where he managed three jails with a combined capacity of 1,750. All facilities Mr. Perroncello managed were accredited by NCCHC. He is also a past president of the American Jail Association and a past member of the NCCHC board of directors, where he chaired the accreditation committee. Mr. Perroncello also now co-chairs the Trainer Certification Commission and serves as an expert witness for jail administrators, correctional officers, and county officials. Mr. Perroncello is the principal owner of Jail Management Consultants, LLC, a Massachusetts company specializing in public safety risk management.
