Ms. Megan Leinen is currently Wellpath’s regional director of nursing for jails in the Pacific Northwest region of the U.S. She has worked in correctional health care for 8 years. Ms. Leinen started her correctional health care career in the Volusia County Jail in Daytona Beach, Florida, and worked several different positions in that jail over the years with both Armor and Centurion. When she left that site in 2021, she worked as the regional director of nursing for the Arizona Department of Corrections through Centurion before taking her current role in August 2022. Ms. Leinen currently holds a bachelor’s of social work, a bachelor’s of nursing, and is working on completing her MBA in health care management.
