Ms. Katherine Ruiz has served as an RN3 in the Washington State Department of Children, Youth and Families Juvenile Rehabilitation for the past 2 years. She currently serves as the nurse administrator in Echo Glen Children’s Center, one of the two largest institutions in this system. This facility serves younger adolescent and young adult men and all adolescent and young adult women in the system. Prior to this position she worked as a surgical nurse at a Harborview Medical Center, a level 1 trauma center.
