Dr. Panayiota Courelli has made presentations at national correctional conferences such as NCCMH (summer 2015, Long Beach), and American Correctional Association (summer 2012). In addition, Dr. Courelli has presented at other professional conferences such as SASH, and has been an invited speaker at events, including addressing the Congressional Hispanic Caucus on mental health issues among incarcerated youth. Dr. Courelli has also been adjunct faculty for nearly 10 years in the Preventive Medicine Department of the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California.
