Ms. Angel Dalverny is a registered nurse and has worked in correctional care for 5.5 years. She oversees the medications for opioid use disorder programs at Allegany County Detention Center located in Cumberland, MD (which includes methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone), and has been instrumental in the University of Maryland telemedicine buprenorphine program’s development, instituted in May 2021. Ms. Dalverny is responsible for the referral, medication administration, data collection, and post-release treatment connection for opioid use disorder-diagnosed incarcerated patients. Ms. Dalverny holds an associate degree in nursing from Allegany College of Maryland and a bachelor's degree in nursing from Western Governors University.
