Dr. Neil Fisher has been involved in the health care of incarcerated offenders for more than 25 years. He is a proud graduate of Albany Medical College in Albany, New York. In correctional healthcare, Dr. Fisher is best known for educating/guiding correctional healthcare staff on the care of the incarcerated prisoner especially those that are HIV positive and/or Hepatitis C positive. Dr. Fisher is also a vocal advocate of the uniqueness of correctional healthcare as a career option. He is Wexford Health Source's  Assistant Chief Medical Officer and Medical Director for Quality and Pharmacy. Dr. Fisher is also Wexford's Regional Medical Director for their jail contracts, and is based at Wexford's Regional Office in Scottsdale, Arizona. Dr. Fisher also frequently attends NCCHC and other correctional conferences and is a well known speaker at these events.
