Dr. Lawrence Reccoppa is a board-certified psychiatrist in Gainesville, Florida. He completed his education at Cornell University and the University of Florida. He has been in private practice and working at local community mental health centers for more than 25 years. In the past, he served as a chief psychiatrist for the Florida Department of Corrections for more than 15 years. For the last ten years, Dr. Reccoppa has been a Regional Psychiatric Director for Wellpath. In this position, he has treated patients in various jails and prisons across seven states. He has almost 30 years of experience in correctional health care.
