Dr Oyinkansola Akindele, PharmD, is a  Clinical Pharmacist Specialist at the Harris Health System Correctional Health in Houston, Texas. Dr Akindele is a highly skilled and dedicated clinical pharmacist specializing in correctional healthcare. With a passion for patient-centered care and a commitment to improving health outcomes, Dr. Akindele plays a pivotal role in providing comprehensive pharmaceutical services within the challenging environment at Harris County Jail. Dr. Akindele earned a Doctor's of Pharmacy degree from Texas Southern University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and completed postgraduate training at Harris Health System. Upon graduation, she accepted a clinical pharmacist position at the Harris County jail where she performs a wide range of clinical responsibilities including interdisciplinary collaboration, chronic disease management, infectious disease control and formulary management.
