Ms. Rebecca Greene is a seasoned healthcare professional, currently serving as the Central Region Nurse Director II for the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction. She began her NC DAC career in 2001 as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Recognized for her exceptional contributions, she was named Nurse of the Year in 2021. Currently, Ms. Greene oversees nursing operations across twelve of the central region's correctional facilities, and the statewide nursing telehealth triage program. Ms. Greene spearheaded and organized the expansion of statewide telehealth nursing triage. She plays a crucial role in advancing correctional healthcare services and improving patient outcomes.
