Ms. Shannon Chapel graduated magna cum laude in 2001 from Great Basin College in Elko, Nevada, with an Associate degree in nursing. In 2020, she obtained her Bachelor's degree from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City, Utah, graduating with an Excellence Award for advanced professional roles and values.  In 2022, Shannon graduated from Western Governors University with a Master's degree in nursing informatics while achieving another Excellence Award for informatics systems analysis and design. Her 23-year nursing background includes orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, medical-surgical nursing, telemetry, cardiac stepdown, home health services, travel nursing, case management, and nursing supervision. She currently works for Centurion Health as the statewide Continuous Quality Improvement Data Analyst for Idaho.
